Written by Dave Haslett, the founder of ideas4writers, this book shows you the fastest ways to plan, write, edit and sell novels, non-fiction books and just about anything else, knocking months off the traditional methods.

Come up with great ideas, beat writer's block, find more time to write, fill gaps in the market as soon as you spot them, beat your competitors into print, increase your chances of having a bestseller ... and sell a lot of books!

Includes the methods used by Stephen King, D.H. Lawrence, Barbara Cartland, Ray Bradbury, Ernest Hemingway, Jack Kerouac, and many others.

"An absolute mine of information and encouragement, written in easy-to-read plain language."
Jan Free-Gore, UK

idea of the day

idea of the day iconNON-FICTION BOOKS: Sometimes you can get hold of products and software long before they become available to the public. For example, most large software companies release Beta versions months before the finished software goes on sale. These are virtually complete products but often still need a few tweaks and fixes. They release copies to certain people: those who need to see the new version so they can start writing applications to run on it, those who will write reviews and tutorials on it, and those who will help test it and identify all the bits that need fixing. If you write books about these sorts of products it makes sense to get on the distribution list for Beta copies. You'll then have plenty of time to explore the product in detail and write your book before the final version goes on sale.
